I feel so blessed to have been Catherine’s friend and have been part of her life since Collingwood sixth form, for over 40 years. We shared love of travel, culture, the arts, gardening, cocktails, piercings, adventures, naughtiness, music, dance, scrabble, the beach and water, and so much more. I loved our deep, silly, controversial, irreverent, searching, educational, funny conversations. Nothing was off limits. Catherine regaled us with funny stories of classroom antics, her sophisticated vocabulary sprinkled with street talk, her no-nonsense approach mixed with great sensitivity, lots of layers and lots of complexities and simplicity. Being in Catherine’s company was exciting and never ever dull. My life has been immeasurably enriched by seeing life through Catherine’s lense, she was insightful, inspiring, colourful, funny, intelligent, witty, brave, vivacious, feisty, gentle, strong, loving, kind, vulnerable, sensual, compassionate and beautiful. Her sense of style and artistic expression through every medium was legendary - presentation of food and drinks were picture perfect, her decor so stylish, her photography captured the essence of the moment and was just truly gorgeous. Catherine mastered the art of taking a selfie and spent many an occasion teaching us the ‘down and up’ method resulting in some hilarious results especially after a few cocktails. I will always be grateful to have been able to share so many years of friendship with Catherine, to have so many wonderful memories that make me smile, laugh, and feel warm inside. I raise a glass to you my dear, dear friend. I know you will shining bright and will be sprinkling your magic wherever you are, thank you for sharing your life authentically and in all the colours and hues that brought. Catherine, you are so sorely missed, not a day goes by where I haven't gone to call you! I was blessed to work with you for over 4 years. You were a sensational teacher and no words I could write do you justice. All of the schools that you visited were so quick to call me with glowing feedback. I've lost count of the times I picked up the phone to, "Can we please book Catherine again", "Catherine is so friendly and kind" "Catherine is one of the team". Your ability to build strong friendships in no time at all, was a real gift that I greatly admired. You encouraged me to start my company and by doing so changed my families lives for the better, I will never be able to thank you again, I just hope I told you enough whenever we spoke! I will not forget you and everything you did for me. I will miss our calls!

We would like to express our sorrow at her passing and sincere condolences to all the family and friends who loved her and miss the loss of such a lovely soul. Sadly we didn't have the pleasure of seeing her regularly which was obviously our loss. We will be thinking of you all as you say goodbye to Catherine as she passes to her heavenly home. Good Bless.

Catherine some of our fantastic memories of your visit down under to Queensland, the ride on the Harley and knocking back a few brews at the Bbq going to Outback Spectacular was an amazing night you had us all in stitches I was only 16 the day you were born your Uncle John /my dad was so excited to tell us we had a cousin it took many years before we meet and we were so excited when you came to see us in Queensland face to face big hugs all round wonderful memories I have Catherine you are going to be sadly missed part of my heart is broken 😪😪Till we meet again cuz RIP ❤️

To my beautiful Cath, one of the few that knew me for nearly 55 years. My memories of you will always make me smile. We always had lots of fun, especially the last time when you did well driving your houseboat independently but then you covered me with branches & leaves trying to do a 3 point turn. What a beautiful memory & all the pictures of that time. You were & will always be one of my Sister's & I will miss you ❤ 🙏

Catherine I feel very lucky to have known you, your energy, infectious laughter, and total commitment to seeking out fun and friendships led to some cracking stories, your positive influence on those around you was something to behold. Hearing about your adventures, the escapades on the boat and more brought tears of laughter. Some of those trips on the boat were the best of times, several beers and gin and tonics, several bumps into trees and the occasional bridge only added to the great change of tales to tell. The prospect of us all being together was something to get excited about, and I’ll remember all those times with a huge smile, particularly Christmas in Scotland, overlooking Loch Ness. Whenever I’m there I’ll always think of that time and raise a glass to you.

Such a beautiful and vibrant lady inside and out with a twinkle in your eye and sense of mischief. Love your creativity and glamour, your colour and your wit. Having known you for over 40 years we have lots of fun memories we share. Your sense of adventure and bravery were inspirational. Will miss you my friend but never forget you xxx

Dear Catherine, my brightest, bubbliest sister-in-law and friend. Thank you for your support, love and wisdom. The lighting of a candle is symbolic not only for the passing of such a beautiful person but of the whole life that we were fortunate enough to have shared together. You really were the light that lit up all our lives with just a moment of your presents. We are so blessed to have known you and will always keep your light burning brightly close to our hearts.

We were school friends and I always remember such laughter, huge debates about life and love and your mischievous nature. We reconnected through the powers of Facebook over recent years and loved all your posts about your many adventures. RIP beautiful lady xx

Catherine you had such a natural creative talent - wherever you lived, there was such style. You had the most amazing sense of humor and your fearlessness to explore and travel was inspiring - the adventures you had with your gorgeous furry companion and with friends and family - you made A levels in Collingwood bearable and there are so many memories filled with laughter - I will miss your friendship and quick wit/intelligence - you will never be forgotten❤️

I do remember sort of, when you came to Australia to visit your Aussie family, I, was quite young so it was a very long time ago, I was in aw with the way you carried yourself always happy smiling and always made everything fun for all with a laugh and smile it was infectious, I will never forget the down up look omg I had never seen or heard of that before, when you took selfies and we all got into it, it was so cool with the pucker up lips as well, This stuck with me forever not just meeting my cousin for the first time but leaving a loving lasting memory with all of us, I love all the adventures you went on I watched all of them we all have down here in oz it was our way of staying in your life well for me it was. I love your companion no not you peter but Findlay lol what a name to be called. Well fly hi cousin you will be sadly missed but your life will be celebrated like no other.
